DIRECTIONS
The Gurukulam is situated NW of Coimbatore 45 Kms. from Airport and 30 Kms. from Railways stations and Central Bus stand. The Coimbatore Airport has connecting flights to and from several major cities within India.
Here is a map of the area (not to scale). The approximate costs (as of 2007) for Call Taxis are for your reference.
* From Coimbatore Airport Rs. 500 approx. By road from Central Bus stand (also called Gandhipuram Mobusil Bus stand) on the 3rd platform, Anaikatti buses are available every 30 minutes. First bus is 4:45 am, last bus is 8:45 pm.
By road from Coimbatore Railway Station take Bus No. 11 for Kanuvai. From Kanuvai terminal take Anaikatti Bus.
If you are staying overnight, you are requested to bring for your convenience:
Warm clothing (mid-Nov. to mid-Feb. approx. 18 C or 64 F at night), umbrella, flash light, alarm clock, medicines, insect repellant, towels, personal toiletries, etc.
