Bhagavadgita Home Study Course
Apart from conducting the residential courses, the Gurukulam has a home study course on the Bhagavadgita based on the classes for students attending the long-term residential course at the Gurukulam. The Gita Home Study Course offers a way to study at home, the entire Bhagavadgita, along with Sankara bhashyam, in a methodical and comprehensive manner, to those who are interested in studying, but cannot attend a long-term course.
Vedic Heritage Teaching Program
Besides teaching Vedanta and Sanskrit, Pujya Swamiji is very much committed to the need of preserving our Vedic culture by making it available to the younger generation. In the olden days, it was automatically passed down from one generation to the next through parents, grandparents and the society. With the arrival of the nuclear family, now-a-days, the children do not have the same opportunity as the earlier generations did. In this situation, we have no other alternative but to provide them with an opportunity to learn from books specifically designed for that purpose. Keeping this in mind, under Pujya Swamijis guidance the Vedic Heritage Teaching Program has been developed and published. This program is designed to cater to the needs of children in their most formative years of six to fifteen. The texts and lesson plans are available under the new name Poorna Vidya.
