Despite no official word coming out up until now, Neve Campbell, who is returning in Scream 4 as Sidney Prescott for another go-round with Ghostface, spoke with Black Book Mag recently and revealed to them that she expects Wes Craven is indeed returning to direct the fourth movie. "I'm pretty sure at this stage that Wes [Craven] is back on board to direct and Kevin [Willamson] is definitely writing it...so it is going to be great," Campbell stated. She also went on to confirm that the film is expected to begin lensing in April of 2010, which would make it difficult for the movie to be released next fall I imagine. Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette are also returning for the newest installment of the slasher franchise, which will take the action back to Woodsboro, 10 years after the events which transpired in "Scream 3". |
