New "Demonic Toys 2" Details, Behind The Scenes Video, Pics, Director Speaks!
Some cool new details have come out this evening regarding "Demonic Toys 2" which was filmed in Italy, and is due for a DVD release this fall, October specifically. First, we learned that the film stars Ali Kinzle, Selene Luna, Lane Compton, and Elizabeth Bell. The film is also now going under the title Demonic Toys 2:Personal Demons, and it was directed by William Butler. Meanwhile, below, courtesy of youtube, is a behind-the-scenes look at a seance scene from the movie! Lastly, pictured below, and below the seance video, are first ever stills from "Demonic Toys 2:Personal Demons", which come to us courtesy of FANGORIA. Butler spoke with FANGO about the movie as well, mostly about his experience shooting the film inside an actual 900 year-old Italian castle.
"The shoot went amazing," Butler reveals to FANGORIA. "This was the first time I had shot in Italy since back when I was an effects supervisor on old Empire films like ROBOT JOX, ARENA, DOLLS and TROLL. I had remarkable experiences working on those with Irwin and Frank Yablans, Stuart Gordon, Yvonne DeCarlo, Viggo Mortensen, Lance Henriksen-and of course, who could forget Sonny Bono? I am really proud to be a part of this latest slate of films that Full Moon is doing, with Charles' efforts to return to the rich quality of locations and production value that shooting in Italy brings. We also stayed in that 900-year-old castle, and I will never forget it. We staged scenes in the real dungeon where people had been tortured and beheaded, and the armory where the castle's security would hang out and sharpen their weapons." In "Demonic Toys 2:Personal Demons"...while on a trip to help an eccentric collector of bizarre oddities, young David and his girlfriend Caitlin are forced to fight for their lives when they find themselves trapped in an ancient Roman castle as the Demonic Toys are brought back to life by a mysterious ancient puppet who sets them on a course for murder. Only the fulfillment of an ancient evil curse can save them. But will anyone be alive to be saved in the end?
