Horror Movies &stuff talks with "George A. Romero Pocket Essential" writers, win a copy!

So we promised you guys we'd be rolling out some Halloween treats for you on this Halloween Day, and here's our first one. We recently got a chance to talk with Curtis Owen and Tom Fallows, writers of "The George A. Romero Pocket Essential"...a new book which is now in stores in the UK and the U.S., and tells of the life and career of George A. Romero. I've gotten an opportunity to read an advance copy of the book, and it's a very well-written, honest, and revealing piece of literature. It's told from the perspective of two of Romero's biggest fans, and talks about everything from their feelings on his most recent work, "Diary Of The Dead"...to the long and arduous trek of one of his lesser known films, "Bruiser". Tom Fallows, one of the books writers...told us that their publisher, Pocket Essentials Publishing, were very supportive of their work on the piece, revealing..."We pitched it to them and amazingly they said, "Yes." This is our first book and we were struggling to get a foot in the door, but Pocket Essentials were really accessible and open to ideas. Once we got the go ahead they were so supportive and allowed us space to write the book on our own. We had a great experience with them."

You can read the full interview woth Curtis and Tom Here. But that's not all, starting right now...up until 12 am tonight, when Halloween concludes.....we are sponsoring a contest, where we'll be giving away one copy of the book to a lucky winner!
