"The Shield" scribe John Hlavin, has been tapped to pen
Underworld 4 for Sony Screen Gems, this according to Heat Vision. The fourth pic, which is due for release January 21st 2011, is rumored to be aiming for a 3-D angle. While plot details are currently being kept under wraps, Hlavin was able to confirm to fans of the series that this one will not be a prequel. "I can tell you it's not a prequel," he explained. Adding..."It will satisfy old fans and excite new audiences, meaning that we don't want to redo the first three movies, so steps are being taken to honor what fans have loved but at the same time introduce fresh elements." Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, and Rhona Mitra are all not currently signed to return at this time. |
