A new indie creature feature is preparing to shoot tomorrow in Baton Rouge Louisiana, according to THR/Heat Vision. The film, titled Lockjaw, will star Mehcad Brooks, Serinda Swan, Sid Haig, and Daniel Bernhardt. In the film...a group of family and friends en route to New Orleans, are sidetracked in the Louisiana bayou and encounter a monster named Lockjaw who is revered by the locals as a god. Amanda Fuller, Dillon Casey, and Lauren Schneider round out the films cast. Pic, which is being produced by Bubble Factory, will have Brooks playing a Navy Seal, just back from the Middle East, with Swan playing his wife. Haig will reportedly play a man named Chopper, while Bernhardt will dawn the makeup as the films creature. Fred M. Andrews wrote the film, and is directing. |
