Bill Murray talks "Ghostbusters 3" Return

So with rumors swirling that he had indeed agreed to return to do Ghostbusters 3, which will now be in 3D...Bill Murray recently not only confirmed those rumors to MOS UK, but he also told them why, he agreed to come back. "I'll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost," he told the site, adding..."I said to them, 'I'll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.' So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film." |
Does this mean that Bill Murray will now replace Slimer as the Ghostbusters resident annoying spectre? Who knows, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Also on track to return for "Ghostbusters 3" are Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and possibly, but at this point not very likely...but then again maybe...Sigourney Weaver. Ivan Reitman will direct the film, which could hit cinemas next year.
