Debuting at next month's South by Southwest Film Festival will be the supernatural/occult horror pic Outcast, which was directed by Colm McCarthy. Pictured, is the official festival one-sheet for the movie, and below...are some new images from the movie. In the film, which stars James Cosmo, James Nesbitt, Ian Whyte, Karen Gillan, Kate Dickie, Ciaran McMenamin, Christine Tremarco, Christopher Downie, and Therese Bradley...Petronella (a Scottish/Romany girl) and Fergal (her mysterious Irish traveller boyfriend) -- doomed relationship plays out, as a Beast stalks the estate, killing locals, working its way towards both of them. Meanwhile Cathal and Liam, two mysterious travellers from Ireland use ritual and magic on a blood hunt. But Mary, Fergal's mother performs ritual and magic of her own. As Cathal comes face to face with Mary in a vicious finale we know one thing: the Beast must die. |
