Paranormal Activity 2 will happen, as Viacom Entertainment CEO Phillippe Dauman is reportedly in the trenches with his team trying to piece together the proper approach to a sequel. Dauman explained that the film was surprise hit that only comes along once in a blue-moon, telling analysts..."Our team will come up with the right creative and marketing approach." Oren Peli, who directed the first film is unlikely to return to direct, but could be heavily involved with the producing and writing of the followup, which to date, has grossed over $62 million dollars on a $15,000 budget. |
