New indie horror on the way with "Polk County", "Blood and Roses"
We were dropped a note this morning in our
Forums from indie director Kenny Vathauer regarding his forthcoming horror pic
Polk County. The film stars Tim Hicks, Chris Evans, Frank DiGiovanna, and Andria Kluckman and is a full length horror flick taking place in the backwoods of America. It centers around a group of townies and their quest to find the American dream on a weekend getaway trip.

Lastly, another sad attempt to romanticize the A-typical vampire movie with
Blood and Roses, a film by Simon Aitken. Starring Marysia Kay, Marq English, Adam Bambrough, Pamela Flanagan, and Benjamin Green...the film follows Jane and Martin who are on holiday in Cornwall, when Jane catches the eye of a vampire. The vampire pursues her back to the holiday home and seduces her causing Jane to slowly begin to turn. She now has to decide if she wants to drink blood and become a full vampire, or fight her animalistic urges. Below is a first ever still from the movie, and you can visit the official website
