Pictured is a cool image of a place called Canyon Lake. Why is this still important? Because it's being used as a shooting location for 20th Century Fox's
Predators, which hits cinemas in July of next year. According to KGNB News, the locale will be used as a stand-in for a portion of the Predators home planet in the film. KGNB writes..."Specifically, they went to a spot that 10 years ago didn't exist, but after flood of 2001, when water went over the spillway at Canyon Lake, a huge gorge was cut out of the landscape, and apparently the filmmakers thought the gorge was the perfect look to create an alien landscape." |
Looks pretty interesting, but I wonder if trees and stuff will be added in digitally at some point. "Predators" stars Adrien Brody, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins, Topher Grace, Derek Mears, Alice Braga, Oleg Taktarov, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, and Louiz Ozawa. The film follows a group of humans who find themselves stranded on a planet home to Predators, and must survive the horrors they encounter.
