Romero Talks "Dead" Series Future

While in attendance at the recent Fantastic Fest, where his latest zombie masterpiece Survival Of The Dead was screened, George A. Romero did a Q&A session before the pic was shown to audiences, and revealed some intriguing info on where he wants to take the "Dead" series post "Survival". Romero revealed that he has atleast two more "Dead" films up his sleeve, which would follow some of the characters introduced back in "Diary Of The Dead". He also has some new rules and mythology that he'd like to incorporate into future movies as well. Of course, all of this depends on how well "Survival" does upon it's wide release which is currently still being worked out by Romero and any potential distributors. "Survival Of The Dead" stars Alex Van Sprang, Kenneth Welsh, Kathleen Munroe, Devon Bostick, Richard Fitzpatrick, Stefano Colacitti, and Athena Karkanis. In the film, the inhabitants of an isolated island off the North American coast find their relatives rising from the dead to eat their kin. The leaders of the island feud over whether or not to kill their reanimated relatives or preserve them in hopes of finding a cure.
