"The Final Destination" DVD/BLU-RAY Art And Extras!

January 5th, is when "The Final Destination" (
Review), will hit home disc in standard and BLU-RAY format. The bad news? The BLU-RAY edition will feature the film in 2-D, and for a limited time, also in 3-D format, and wil come complete with two pairs of 3-D glasses. The standard DVD edition? Will come in standard 2-D format with no 3-D version to speak of. Art for both is pictured, and extras for the BLU-RAY edition will include..."Two Alternate Endings, Body Counts: The Deaths of The Final Destination featurette, Pre-Visualization/Storyboard segments, Exclusive Features via BD-Live, and a Digital Copy of the movie." Both BLU-RAY and standard editions will contain deleted scenes. "The Final Destination" stars Krista Allen, Andy Fiscella, Shantel VanSanten, Bobby Campo, Hayley Webb, Justin Welborn, Nick Zano, Mykelti Williamson, Aurielle Brimmer, and Richard T. Jones. |
In the film, on what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave... escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one--in increasingly gruesome ways--Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination.
