"Prison Break" star Marshall Allman has joined the cast of HBO's hit vampire series "True Blood", this according to THR. Allman will play Tommy Mickens, the long-lost bro' of Sam Trammel/Merlotte in the shows upcoming third season which begins filming this week in Los Angeles. Allman's character, who's expected to be a new regular on the series, will reportedly work at a Tire Depot in Arkansas. The third season will also include Denis O'Hare as Russell Eddington, the Vampire King of Mississippi, and Shannon Lucio in a guest role as Bill Compton's wife from the Civil War era. "True Blood", season 3 is expected to debut in the summer of 2010, most likely June, as per usual. The series follows Sookie Stackhouse, a barmaid living in Louisiana who can read people's minds. Her life is turned upside down when the Vampire Bill, walks into her place of employment two years after vampires 'came out of the coffin' on national television. |
