After yesterday's news that Mel House's scifi-horror-thriller Walking Distance had been retitled to "Experimental Activity", now comes word through DC, that the films title domestically is still "Walking Distance", but outside the U.S., it will go under the "Experimental" title. One of the films stars, James LaMarr wrote in to DC telling them the following..."Our title is still 'Walking Distance'. The alternate title that Showcase came up with after they acquired the international rights over the weekend applies to the foreign market only." In addition to that, it seems the same thing has taken place with Michael Stokes upcoming supernatural horror pic The Beacon, which a few weeks ago, was retitled to "The Haunting At The Beacon". But we learned from Stokes himself recently, that domestically (stateside), the film is still riding under the title of "The Beacon". So now that we've got that all cleared up, look for both of these movies in wide release sometime in 2010! |
