With four horror movies under his belt, it looks like Rocker/Filmmaker Rob Zombie is ready to move on from the horror genre for a long while. While talking with the Chicago Tribune recently -- on directing another horror film, Rob opined..."If you go down that road too far, it's hard to break out of it. I don't want to get stuck with anything. I want the freedom to do what I want to do." I guess that's some bad news for that upcoming The Blob remake, which Rob back in August, was slated to write, produce, and direct. Looks like Producers Richard Saperstein, Brian Witten, Shara Kay, and David Mendez will have to find someone else for the job now. |
