Gunn updates "Vampire Apocalypse" Writer Derek P. Gunn (pictured below) recently dropped the guys over at HorrorMovies.ca a line to let them know what's currently happening with the film adaptation of his vampire novel Vampire Apocalypse. Derek P. Gunn tells HM.CA... "The script is in developement and plans for production are on schedule. I have recently heard that the producer, Richard Finney is currently in post-production with a new movie Lullaby which is directed by South African Darrell Roodt (he recently produced Blood Diamond starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Jennifer Connolly)." Gunn also mentioned that he's just completed the followup novel to "Vampire Apocalypse" entitled "Vampire Apocalypse: Descent Into Chaos". Following the Derek P. Gunn novella, in "Vampire Apocalypse".....after Vampires defeat humans in a war for the fate of humanity, and ultimately end up enslaving humanity...a small band of human rebels led by a reckless young man named John Harris, take one last stand against the vampires to save whats left of humankind.
