Welcome to Bus World.  Please click on the links on the left to enter bus division.

No one really knows who invented the first bus.  Some said that the first bus was invented in Nantes, France in 1826.  A retired army officer who provided service from center of the town to his baths.  His omnibus featured wooden benches that ran down the sides of the vehicle and entrance from the rear.  Some said that John Greenwood invented bus in 1824 when he operated the first "bus route" from Market Street in Manchester to Pendleton in Sanford.
