Brief History
Public Transit World (formerly known
as Public Transportation World) was created on July 15, 2002. It
was created after its' webmaster (@lex Lee) was inspired by other
transit websites. This website offers a variety of information
about public transit ranging from bus models to transitway stations to
transit posters. This website celebrated 5th anniversary on July
15, 2007. The webmaster continues to expand this website whenever
he has time to do so.
About the
webmaster
@lex Lee has been a transit
enthusiast since he was a kid. It was his best friend who
introduced him to this hobby. He did not start taking pictures
until 2002. Since then he has taken over 900 transit related
photos. He continues to take pictures with his digital camera
whenever he has the time to do. Aside from taking transit related photos, he loves to play hockey and
baseball. He is also a die-hard Leafs Fan. If you want to
